Welcome to the Main Lab Bioformatics Group at Washington State University

Lead by Dr. Dorrie Main our group has two primary focus areas (1) investigating plant evolution through in silico comparative genomic approaches and (2) developing computational tools and databases as resources for basic, translational and applied plant research. Our role in this project is to collect, house and integrate all the genomic, genetic and breeding data for Cacao in the project database, and assist in sequence analysis, genome annotation and data standardization.  Mainlab contributors included Dr. Ping Zheng (analysis, database and tools), Taein Lee (database and tools), Stephen Ficklin (database and tools), Randall Svancara (database and tools), Sook Jung (tools) and Eliane Thanes Bodah (Portugese translation and Portugese database implementation).
