National Center for Genome Resources

The National Center for Genome Resources (NCGR) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a non-profit research institution dedicated to improving human health and nutrition. Our research programs include the study of Crop Improvement, Legume Biology, Population Genetics and Infectious and Inherited Childhood Diseases.
 
NCGR’s involvement in the Cacao project includes; 1) the generation of Illumina genome and transcriptome sequence data,  2) analysis of genetic variants (SNPs) and 3) providing next-generation DNA sequence data management, visualization and analysis tools.
