The HudsonAlpha Genome Sequencing Center is a not-for-profit research group, located at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology in Huntsville Alabama, focusing on the generation of high quality plant and fungal genomic resources for the scientific community.  The center specializes in eukaryotic whole genome sequence, assembly, and analysis together with improvement or finishing of complex eukaryotic genomes.  

The efforts of the center are directed by Faculty Investigators Jane Grimwood and Jeremy Schmutz.
